Project summary

Safsouf Studio is producing high-quality, nature-forward  wedding photography, but the current WordPress site is not converting visitors into leads. Primary issues identified in our conversation:

  • Homepage gravity: visitors arrive (from Google Ads and organic) but rarely go past the hero — site structure and messaging are not guiding them.
  • Performance: extremely large images (hero image ~40× larger than needed) and slow page loads that increase bounce.
  • Discoverability: limited SEO and local presence (Google Business account issues).
  • Usability: WordPress theme/back-end is difficult to manage; you want an easy CMS for adding galleries and blog posts.
  • Target audience: couples who prioritize nature and outdoor weddings (local + destination).

This proposal describes a focused Webflow rebuild that uses Safsouf’s existing photographic assets, improves performance and conversion, and establishes a local SEO and ads-ready foundation to reach your ideal clients.

Objectives

  1. Convert more homepage visitors into meaningful engagement (portfolio views, contact form submissions).
  2. Improve site performance while preserving photographic quality.
  3. Position Safsouf Studio for regional wedding & nature-focused searches (local and relevant destination keywords).
  4. Make the site easy to maintain: simple CMS-driven gallery and blog workflows you can use without a developer.
  5. Provide post-launch support and training so you can manage galleries, blog posts, and basic updates.

Proposed approach

  • Discovery & brand alignment — questionnaire + 1 design review call to confirm voice, key locations (Upstate NY, Banff, Montreal, etc.), and portfolio curation priorities.
  • Sitemap & wireframes — define page hierarchy and conversion paths that guide ad traffic and organic visitors from hero → portfolio → contact.
  • Visual design — craft layouts that prioritize large photography while preserving performance. Produce a design for Home, Gallery listing, Single gallery templates, About, Services/Investment, Blog, Contact, and 1–2 ad/landing page templates.
  • Webflow build — full site build in Webflow (CMS for galleries/blog), responsive implementation, accessibility best practices.
  • Performance optimization — automated image resizing, modern formats (WebP/AVIF), lazy loading, responsive srcsets, and CDN configuration. Fix oversized assets (e.g., replace the 40× oversized hero image).
  • SEO & local setup — on-page SEO (titles, meta, structured data/schema), local keyword mapping, Google Business (creation/verification or recovery), and best practices for galleries to rank for targeted searches.
  • Ads landing page optimization — creation/tuning of 1–2 dedicated landing pages for Google Ads to improve Quality Score → conversions.
  • Analytics & conversions — Google Analytics / GA4, Google Tag Manager, goals for form submissions, event tracking for gallery clicks, and a dashboard summary.
  • Training, docs & support — custom video tutorials for adding galleries and blog posts, a short written manual, and 30 days of included post-launch support. Ongoing maintenance offered as an optional retainer.

Platform choice:

Webflow — chosen for a photo-centric, design-flexible build plus an editor interface that is friendlier than WordPress for non-technical edits and a CMS suitable for galleries.
