Project Overview
St. Jude the Apostle School needs a redesigned website that is easier for families to use, easier for staff to update, and stronger as an enrollment tool.
The current site has a lot of useful information, but it is difficult to navigate, visually outdated, and not clearly organized around the needs of prospective families, current families, donors, and staff. The site also includes stale content, inconsistent grade-level language, placeholder information, and outdated pages that should be cleaned up.
This project will focus on creating a cleaner, more modern website that supports enrollment, improves parent communication, and gives the school a more polished online presence.
Main Goals
The new website should:
- Make it easier for new families to understand why they should choose St. Jude.
- Create a clear path for families to schedule a tour, request information, apply, or register.
- Give current families one central place to find important resources.
- Make it easier for teachers and staff to update content.
- Improve the presentation of teachers, programs, testimonials, and school life.
- Clean up outdated content, old pages, broken workflows, and confusing navigation.
- Support future growth through a more organized content system.
Recommended Direction
Instead of creating two separate websites, I recommend building one main website with two clear sections:
1. Marketing Section
This section would be designed for prospective families. It would explain the value of St. Jude, highlight programs, show testimonials, introduce teachers, and guide families toward scheduling a tour or starting enrollment.
2. Current Families Section
This section would act as a parent hub. It would include calendars, lunch menus, forms, FACTS links, re-enrollment information, teacher/class resources, extracurriculars, CASE, summer camp, and other day-to-day information families need.
This gives the school one consistent website while still making the experience clear for different audiences.
Recommended Platform
I recommend rebuilding the site in Webflow.
Webflow would give St. Jude a more flexible and user-friendly system than the current WordPress setup. It would allow staff and teachers to update structured content without having to manage complicated page layouts.
The Webflow CMS could be used for:
- Teachers
- Staff
- Class pages
- Programs
- Testimonials
- Events
- Resources
- Forms and documents
This would make the site easier to maintain and reduce the need for technical help every time content needs to be updated.
Proposed Website Structure
The new site could include the following main sections:
- Home
- About
- Admissions
- Programs
- Current Families
- Staff Directory
- Support / Giving
- Contact
Key Pages and Features
Homepage
The homepage should be rebuilt around a clear enrollment message.
It should include:
- A strong headline
- Real school photography
- A clear “Schedule a Tour” button
- A secondary “Apply / Register” or “Request Information” button
- Short highlights about Catholic education, community, academics, and care
- Program previews
- Testimonials
- Parent quick links
- Contact information
The goal is to make the homepage feel welcoming, current, and action-oriented.
Admissions
The admissions section should give families a simple path from interest to enrollment.
This section should include:
- Why choose St. Jude
- How the admissions process works
- Schedule a tour
- Request information
- Tuition and financial aid
- FACTS / enrollment links
- Frequently asked questions
The current site has admissions information, but it is too scattered. The new site should make the next step obvious.
Programs
The programs section should explain what St. Jude offers in a way that helps families understand the school experience.
This section may include:
- Early Childhood / Preschool
- UPK information, if applicable
- Kindergarten through Grade 5
- Specials
- Aftercare / CASE
- Summer Camp
- Extracurricular Activities
Each program page should be easy to read and should include clear calls to action.
Current Families Hub
This section should make it easier for existing families to find what they need quickly.
It should include:
- Calendar
- Lunch and breakfast menus
- FACTS Family Portal links
- Re-enrollment instructions
- Forms and handbook
- Uniform information
- CASE information
- Summer camp registration
- Extracurricular registration links
- School board information
- PCA information
- Teacher contact information
This content currently exists in different places, but it should be grouped into one simple parent-focused area.
Staff Directory
The new site should include a clean staff directory.
- This would include:
- Teacher and staff photos
- Names
- Roles
- Grades or subjects
- Email/contact information
- Links to class pages when needed
The directory should be easy to search or filter so parents can quickly find the right person.
Teacher and Class Pages
Teacher pages should be CMS-driven so they are easy to update.
Each teacher or class page could include:
- Teacher bio
- Class schedule
- Weekly updates
- Learning galleries
- Helpful links
- Announcements
The goal is to let teachers update their own content without having to rebuild pages or rely on a website admin.
Summer Camp and Extracurriculars
The new site should make summer camp and extracurricular registration easier.
This section should include:
- Summer camp overview
- Online registration form or clear downloadable form
- Activity descriptions
- Age or grade eligibility
- Schedules
- External signup links for third-party programs
- CASE registration forms
This would reduce parent friction and help the school present these programs more clearly.
Support / Giving
The current giving and sponsorship experience should be cleaned up.
The new site should include a simple support page explaining:
- Why giving matters
- How donations support students
- Sponsor a Student
- Tuition assistance
- Alumni giving
- Fundraising campaigns
- FACTS giving links
- Contact information for questions
- Old fundraising and ClickFunnels pages should be reviewed, removed, or redirected so families and donors do not land on outdated pages.
Content Cleanup
As part of the project, the current site content should be reviewed and simplified.
Priority cleanup items include:
- Verify tuition and FACTS information.
- Update staff names, emails, and photos.
- Remove the Technology Class page if it is no longer needed.
- Review photo permissions and privacy language.
- Fix outdated or broken summer camp content.
Design Direction
The new website should feel:
- Clean
- Warm
- Trustworthy
- Organized
- Family-friendly
- Modern but not overly trendy
- The design should use real photography, clear calls to action, simple navigation, and strong content hierarchy.
- The marketing section should feel welcoming and enrollment-focused.
- The current families section can be visually connected to the main brand while still feeling like its own resource hub.

Investment
Website Design & Development
$9,250.00
Payment Schedule
A 40% deposit of $3,700.00 is due upon proposal approval to reserve the project schedule and begin work.
A second payment of $2,775.00 will be automatically processed on June 26, 2026, which represents 30% of the total project investment.
A final payment of $2,775.00 will be automatically processed on July 26, 2026, which represents the remaining 30% of the total project investment.
The project is expected to be launch-ready around the final payment date, assuming timely content, feedback, and approvals.
Website Hosting & CMS Platform
The redesigned website will be built and hosted on Webflow CMS, which provides a more modern, secure, and user-friendly platform than the current WordPress setup.
The recommended hosting plan for this project is the Webflow CMS Site Plan, which is currently approximately $29/month billed annually (pricing subject to Webflow updates).
This hosting plan includes:
- Secure managed website hosting
- SSL security certificate
- Global CDN for fast page loading
- Visual content management system (CMS)
- Staff-friendly content editing tools
- Automatic platform updates and maintenance
- Responsive performance optimization
- Form handling capabilities
- Reliable uptime and security monitoring
- Ability to manage teacher pages, programs, testimonials, news, and resources through the CMS
One of the major advantages of Webflow is that the platform removes much of the plugin maintenance, update management, and backend complexity commonly associated with WordPress websites.
This allows the school staff to make content updates more easily while reducing long-term maintenance issues and security concerns.
The Webflow hosting plan would be billed directly to St. Jude School and is separate from the project design and development investment.
This proposal assumes:
- The school will provide final approved content or approve edited content.
- The school will provide current staff information, tuition details, forms, calendars, and program information.
- The school will provide or approve photography.
Next Steps
To move forward with the project:
- Review and approve the proposal
- Sign the project agreement/contract
- Submit the initial 40% deposit
- Schedule the project kickoff and onboarding process
- Begin content collection, planning, and strategy
Once the signed agreement and first payment are received, the project timeline and production schedule will officially begin.
Final Summary
St. Jude does not need to start from scratch. The school already has a strong content foundation, meaningful programs, a long history, and valuable parent resources.
The opportunity is to simplify the structure, modernize the design, remove outdated content, and turn the website into a stronger tool for enrollment, communication, and trust.
