1. Project Overview

You’re launching the Homeowners Preferred Card, a high-end direct mail and digital platform connecting high-value single-family homeowners with vetted local service providers (e.g., HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, house cleaning).

The website’s primary goals are to:

  • Give homeowners a simple, elegant online experience after scanning the QR code on the card.
  • Provide premium visibility and lead generation for contractors who pay to be featured.
  • Allow you to track interest and activity so you can demonstrate ROI to contractors.

2. Objectives

  1. Present a premium, trustworthy brand experience that matches the quality of the physical card.
  2. Make it easy for homeowners to quickly find and contact vetted service providers.
  3. Support your revenue model:
    • Premium placements for a small set of top contractors (featured on the card and site).
    • Additional directory listings for other service providers.
  4. Enable basic tracking & reporting so you can tell contractors how many leads/clicks they’re getting.

3. Scope of Work

3.1 Strategy & UX Planning

  • Clarify target homeowner profile and core service categories.
  • Define site structure:
    • Home / Landing page (card explanation, how it works, trust messaging).
    • Premium featured contractors section (the 4–6 top categories that appear on the card).
    • Extended directory (alphabetical listings for additional service providers).
    • Contact / Lead submission patterns (forms or direct contact links).
  • Align on brand direction using your existing logo and card design as the visual foundation.

3.2 Design & Visual Experience

  • Design a clean, elevated layout that:
    • Feels like an exclusive membership experience, not just a generic list of contractors.
    • Is simple and intuitive for homeowners to use.
  • Apply branding to:
    • Typography, colors, buttons, iconography.
    • Contractor tiles/cards and directory layout.
  • Ensure responsive design (desktop, tablet, mobile).

3.3 Website Build

  • Build the site on a modern, CMS-backed platform suited for:
    • Managing contractor listings.
    • Simple content updates without needing a developer.
  • Implement:
    • Premium featured section for top service providers (e.g., roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
    • Extended directory with alphabetized service categories and individual listings.
    • Contact paths (click-to-call, email links, and/or short inquiry forms like “Please contact me about my roof leak”).
    • Basic on-page SEO best practices (titles, meta descriptions, clean URLs, headings).

3.4 Analytics & Tracking

  • Set up Google Analytics on the site.
  • Configure event tracking for key actions, such as:
    • Clicks on contractor phone numbers or email links.
    • Submissions of any inquiry forms.
  • Provide you with a simple overview of how to view these metrics, so you can tell contractors:
    • How many clicks or inquiries their listing generated over a period.

3.5 Domain, Hosting & Technical Setup

  • Perform a pre-search for domain availability (e.g., variations of Homeowners Preferred).
  • Advise on the best available domain option(s).
  • Assist with:
    • Registering the chosen domain.
    • Connecting the domain to the website host.
    • Basic launch configuration (SSL, redirects if needed).

3.6 Quick Prototype / Landing Page (Optional Early Deliverable)

To support your early contractor outreach while the full site is in progress, I can:

  • Launch a simple, one-page landing prototype that:
    • Explains the concept (for both homeowners and contractors).
    • Shows the brand look and feel.
    • Provides basic contact info or a simple “I’m interested” form for contractors.
  • This can go live earlier in the process so you can start sending something tangible to prospects.

4. Process & Timeline

Estimated timeline: 3 weeks to 2 months, depending on feedback speed and final scope.

High-level phases:

  1. Discovery & Planning (Days 1–5)
    • Confirm requirements, finalize site structure, review logo/card design, align on content needs.
  2. Design & Prototype (Week 1–3)
    • Design key pages, refine layout and brand expression.
    • Optional: launch a basic landing prototype early in this phase for your initial outreach.
  3. Build & Integrations (Week 2–5)
    • Implement pages, directory, premium sections, and contact paths.
    • Set up Analytics and event tracking.
  4. Review, Revisions & Launch (Week 4–8)
    • Content polishing, cross-device testing, and adjustments based on your and Lisa’s feedback.
    • Final launch and handoff.

Timeline can skew closer to 3–4 weeks if decisions and content come quickly; closer to 2 months if there’s more back-and-forth.

5. Investment & Payment Terms

Project fee: $7,500 USD

This includes:

  • Website build on a modern, scalable platform.

  2. Submit Deposit Using Link Below
  3. Confirm Brand Name and Send Logo Design if Avaible

Looking forward to potentially working together on this. This is exactly the type of site I enjoy building, and I think we can create something that feels truly premium for homeowners and compelling for contractors.

Best,
