Objectives

Flag-Up has a strong brand and an important niche in women’s flag football apparel. However, several key issues are limiting online visibility and conversions:

  1. Google Business Profile Visibility
    The brand is not currently appearing in Google Business searches, which prevents Flag-Up from capturing local and branded search traffic.
  2. SEO & Ranking Barriers
    Technical and on-page SEO issues are likely holding the site back from ranking for both branded terms (“Flag Up”) and primary product keywords that drive sales.
  3. Homepage Optimization
    The current hero section uses baked-in text over images, which Google cannot read. By updating this area with dynamic heading and paragraph fields through the site’s installed theme, we can improve keyword targeting and on-page SEO while keeping the design polished.

Scope of Work

Within two weeks, I will deliver the following:

  1. Google Business Profile Setup & Fixes
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues preventing Flag-Up from appearing on Google Business.
    • Ensure accurate NAP (Name, Address, Phone) details, categories, and branding are in place.
    • Add logo, photos, and posts to strengthen presence for branded queries.
  2. SEO Audit & Fixes
    • Review technical SEO (indexing, sitemaps, schema, alt tags, site speed, metadata).
    • Audit and update title tags, meta descriptions, and H1s for keyword targeting.
    • Provide a prioritized list of fixes for long-term SEO growth.
  3. Homepage Optimization
    • Update hero section to use the installed theme’s slider module (with editable headings/subheadings).
    • Write new, SEO-friendly copy for headings and subheadings to capture both branded and product keywords.
    • Ensure design remains consistent with Flag-Up’s brand identity.

Investment

The total investment for this project is $500, payable upon acceptance of this proposal.
